The SFX ProIPTV is a cost-effective and easy to use satellite receiver solution forming the foundation for any reliable broadcast-quality IPTV service. The SFX ProIPTV provides low cost of ownership, is easy to scale, easy to deploy and easy to manage.
The SFX ProIPTV supports up to 14 dual carrier hot-swappable satellite receiver blade modules (24+4 transponders) in a single chassis with several built in decryption options.
Future proof front-end:dynamically select DVB-S, DVB-S2, or 8PSK Turbo Code for optimal modulation and FEC. Each card can decrypt data and output IPTV streams via dual Gigabit Ethernet interface.
Network Management:IDC’s NetManager2 controls any mix of IDC receivers over the satellite while SNMP tools manage the receivers using MIB-II or enterprise MIB for easy remote control and monitoring.
Web Browser Interface:local or remote configuration of the full SFX ProIPTV using a standard web browser from anywhere with IP connectivity.
Self-Contained Redundancy:dual redundant hot swappable power supplies and M:N demodulator redundancy help ensure maximum network uptime.

Choice of Encryption & Conditional Access Systems
ProIPTV supports a wide range of options for network security and conditional access：
Irdeto Cyphercast/PISYS –the industry’s leading IP encryption and CAS system. Features both 56-bit and 128-bit encryption and extensive Subscriber Management (SMS).
DVB Common Interface CAS – SuperFlex supports DVB-CAS systems, including: Irdeto, Nagra, NDS and others using CAMs and SmartCards.
IDC FlexKey – IDC’s proven 128-bit AES encryption. The decryption keys are stored in a secure internal device in the receiver. No smart card is required. Ideal low-cost or entry-level solution.
BISS –Industry standard encryption supported by many modulators.

Highly modular and configurable to suit every need
The SFX ProIPTV is the next-generation IPTV product from IDC. Built on IDC’s experience with deployed in-the-field IPTV networks, the SFX ProIPTV is ideal for Telcos, MDUs and other points of presence where space is limited. The SFX ProIPTV saves power, time, and space. The unique “blade” design provides a 75% space usage reduction, with up to 28 transponders in a 6RU rack space, and provides a 50% power saving over previous generations of systems. The design of the ProIPTV is highly modular, allowing the user to determine the modules and configuration best suited to the needs of the network and the content to be delivered. Each module is plug and play, and hot swappable.

Alternate Chassis Configurations
The SFX ProIPTV has three different chassis configurations — all interoperable on the same network and with all ProIPTV modules interchangeable between units. This variety gives service providers the ability to provide a scalable range of IPTV service offerings, from small to very large. For example, a six transponder (three SFX3106 blades) can provide up to 50 MPEG4 HD channels of IPTV television.
The 6RU chassis can accommodate up to 14 blades (24 transponders plus 4 for redundancy) and is intended for full sized networks — typically 300 or more channels of SD television. The 2RU and 3RU chassis configurations are for smaller numbers of SD channels or for complementary HD channel offerings.
