Radio and television satellite uplink System Typical Case

System Requirement and Application：

It is a C-band, Ku-band or DBS-band Satellite transmission system, which is all equipped with 1:1 redundant sub-systems of Encoders, Modulators, Converters, Amplifiers and etc. The antenna is large fixed communication antennas for fixed earth stations. The system has auto gain adjustment function and anti-attack functions.

All uplink equipments are configured in 1:1 redundancy, with auto/manual switching mechanism, so as to guarantee non-stop transmission and improve system reliability.
Video and audio encoder is MPEG-2/H.262 or MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 standard for HDTV or SDTV transmission. HD video bit rate up to 160Mbps; SD Video bit rate up to 50Mbps.
Modulator with DVB-S/DVB-S2 standard, with optional QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK and etc. A variety of FEC available, data rate up to 216Mbps.
UpConverter is C, Ku or DBS band.
Klystron High Power Amplifier manufactured by CPI, outputs up to 3KW RF power, providing excellent anti-attack capability.
Monitor connectors are available at each output point of the system. Operators can test any signal at any level of the system, so as to monitor the signal quality of the whole system and to help trouble shooting.
